​My dear reader
Welcome to October.

As we step into a new month, I want you to do something intentionally: watch your words.

Do not allow fear to narrate your October. Do not allow yesterday’s disappointments to prophesy over your tomorrow. Instead, bring your words into agreement with the Word of God.

Hebrews 3:1 calls Jesus the High Priest of our confession, and Hebrews 10:23 tells us to hold firmly to the hope we confess because He who promised is faithful.

So this month, I want you to confess God’s Word over your life.

Speak it aloud. Pray it with expectation. Write it down. Return to it when circumstances try to convince you otherwise.

Your confession is not about pretending everything is perfect. It is about declaring that God is still faithful in the middle of everything.

Now, Confess This Over Your October:

RELATIONSHIPS
I confess that God is ordering my relationships according to His purpose. I am surrounded by relationships that bring peace, wisdom, encouragement and godly purpose. I have discernment to recognize what is from God and courage to release what is not.

“Walk with the wise and become wise.” 
Proverbs 13:20

EMOTIONAL PEACE
I confess that anxiety will not govern me. Fear will not dictate my decisions. I receive the peace of God that surpasses understanding. My heart is anchored in Christ, and my mind is being renewed by His Word.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

I confess that I am growing deeper in God. My prayer life is becoming stronger. My spiritual discernment is increasing. I hear His voice, recognize His direction and have the courage to obey.

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
James 4:8

PHYSICAL STRENGTH
I confess strength, renewal and restoration over my body. I will steward my health with wisdom and honour God with my body. I receive grace for each day and strength for every assignment.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
Isaiah 40:31

FINANCES AND PROVISION
I confess that God is my source and provider. I will not live under the bondage of fear concerning my finances. God gives me wisdom, discipline, favour and opportunity to steward what He places in my hands.

“And my God shall supply meet your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

PURPOSE AND FUTURE
I confess that my future is secure in God’s hands. I may not know everything October will bring, but I know the One who goes before me. God is ordering my steps, preparing my way and positioning me according to His purpose.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Isaiah 43:19

VICTORY
I confess that I am not defeated by what I face. I will not allow opposition to determine my outcome. I belong to Christ, and I will walk in the victory He has given me.

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37

Now Speak This Over Your October:

October, I enter you with faith, hope and love.

I will not be ruled by fear.

I will not be defined by my past.

I will not be discouraged by what I see.

I will trust God beyond what I understand.

I will pray before I panic.

I will worship before I worry.

I will seek God before I make decisions.

I will speak life over myself, my family, my future and my circumstances.

I declare that God is going before me.

He is ordering my steps.

He is giving me wisdom for every decision.

He is strengthening me for every assignment.

He is giving me grace for every challenge.

He is making a way where I cannot yet see a way.

I declare that October will be a month of divine alignment, spiritual growth, renewed strength, answered prayer and testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

I will see God’s goodness.

I will recognize His hand.

I will trust His timing.

I will stand on His Word.

And when I do not know what to say, I will say what God has already said.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” 
Hebrews 10:23

My dear reader, confess it by faith.

Say it until your faith catches up with your circumstances.

Say it when you feel strong.

Say it when you feel weak.

Say it when the answer has not yet appeared.

Because our confidence is not in the power of our words alone. Our confidence is in the God whose Word never fails.

October is here.

Let prayer go before you. Let faith speak for you. Let God’s Word anchor you.

And may you enter this month knowing that whatever October holds, God is already there.

As you confess His Word, may your faith rise, your perspective shift, your spirit be strengthened and your life become a testimony of His faithfulness.
